Optional 19° and 50° SP-series lenses let you change to a tighter or broader projection angle when the setup demands it. Built-In Shutters Shape the Beam Four integrated shutter blades cut the projected light into rectangles, triangles, narrow strips, and other geometric forms. This gives you direct control over where the flash lands and helps keep unwanted spill away from the rest of the frame. Rotate Gobos Through 360° The shutter assembly rotates through 360°, allowing you to align a pattern or shaped beam without removing the gobo. The included SP-CF holder accepts size M gobos, and a gobo set is supplied so you can create textured effects immediately. Optional SA-09-001, SA-09-002, SA-09-003, and SA-09-004 gobo sets expand the available pattern choices. No. A compatible Godox square-head flash is required and sold separately. Which flashes fit the FP-M? What is the difference between the 19°, 36°, and 50° lenses? The angle controls beam spread and projection size. The 19° lens is the tightest, the included 36° lens provides medium coverage, and the 50° lens gives the broadest projection. Can a camera lens be used on the projector? No. Godox warns against substituting a camera lens because heat may damage it. Use the dedicated SP-series projection lenses. Can I install the gobo holder and iris together? No. Both use the same accessory slot, so one must be removed before the other is installed. Does the projector require power? No. The FP-M is a passive optical attachment. The connected flash supplies the light and determines output, triggering, and exposure control. Are there heat limitations during repeated use? Yes. Godox warns that the surface can become hot after more than 50 consecutive full-power flashes. Allow the projector to cool and use insulated gloves if it must be handled while hot.
