Goeppertia makoyanaGoeppertia makoyana has broad, oval leaves with a pale green to creamy background, dark green feathering and rounded blotches arranged along the veins. Much of t he pattern is repeated underneath in reddish-purple, which becomes easy to see when new leaves unfurl or older leaves lift.It grows from short rhizomatous stems into a compact clump that usually stays below about 50 cm tall. The leaves can reach around 30 cm long and are held on slender stems, giving the plant an upright shape with some space between the leaves. Small purple-and-white flower spikes can also appear, although the foliage remains the main attraction. Show more
