Perhaps our most bougie teapot. This kyusu is made of Tokoname clay that is coated with glaze that uses real gold. The pattern on the surface that is reminiscent of a snake's skin. While the outside is glazed, the inside is left unglazed. It has a wide sasame ceramic mesh built into it, allowing the user to brew even coarse teas like fukamushi sencha. About the Glaze The tenmoku glaze used is a special glaze that changes to various colors and kiln changes and cannot be imitated elsewhere.
