Composition Leaf (also known as Imitation leaf, Schlag Leaf or Dutch gold) Made from brass and a combination of zinc and copper. Thickness is approximately 0.3 microns. Gold has a colour similar to that of 22K gold leaf, composed of 15% zinc and 85% copper. Composition gold leaf or Dutch Metal is 140 x 140mm. Must be varnished afterwards to avoid tarnishing and to protect it.
