The precision CD mechanism is engineered for high-performance audio and extracts every bit of information from the disc to accurately create a pure digital signal stream. This is fed into the premium D/A converter, the AKM AK4493, our favourite design by the leading Japanese manufacturer for its unmatched quality. The stream is converted into an analogue signal with incredible musicality and organic richness, preventing any distortion while preserving the entirety of its dynamic range to deliver a sound that’s detailed and real as it can be.
