Gold Ram (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi "Gold") The Gold Ram is a striking and peaceful dwarf cichlid, selectively bred for its vibrant golden-yellow coloration and shimmering iridescence. A variant of the classic Ram Cichlid, the Gold Ram has a compact body with subtle blue highlights, red eyes, and a graceful swimming style. Despite its bold appearance, this fish is gentle and makes an excellent choice for peaceful community aquariums. They do best in well-maintained, planted tanks with soft, slightly acidic water and appreciate plenty of hiding spots.
