For filled wire, the gold is bonded to the wire and is over 100 times thicker than plated gold. Durable & tarnish resistant, these rings are suitable for daily wear. Filled gold rings are a beautiful, affordable alternative to solid gold and can be worn by people with sensitive skin. While Gold Filled jewelry is much higher quality than gold plated, that doesn't mean they are indestructible. Use care when using products like hand sanitizer as they sometimes contain ingredients that can darken or tarnish your jewelry. If this occurs, you can use a polishing cloth to restore the finish!
