His Split Spades series of playing cards, that was launched in 2009 in collaboration with illustrator Mark Stutzman, has very quickly obtained the status of collector's item. What you see here is the latest, and probably the last deck of Split Spades by David - Gold Metalluxe Edition. Gold metallic inks on the backs and embossed tuck case are the main differences compared to the previous out-of-print editions, which start at $50 a deck on eBay.
