Cheerful daffodils, a sign that spring is well on it’s way and the cold chilly dark early nights are behind us. The random dotted burst of vibrant yellow and orange tones glowing t hrough the long grasses, is the inspiration behind this piece. The contrast sky blue and fluffy white clouds a sign of spring and a little heat in the air. The piece is painted on stretched canvas using thick acrylic, layered with palette knife. The layers create textured petals and give the illusion of the daffodils growing up through the luscious green leaves and long country grasses. This original piece is 20cm x 20cm.
