This is another premium grade of Lapsang Souchong. It is called Golden Eyebrow or Jin Jun Mei. Golden Eyebrow is harvested before Ming's festival, usually before the first rain of spring according to the lunar calendar. It is made of tea bud tips from Wuyi high mountain area (1500-1800 meters). A skilled tea farmer can harvest 2000 pieces per day and it requires tens of thousand tea buds to produce 500 grams of Golden Eyebrow / Jing Jun Mei. An authentic Golden Eyebrow / Jin Jun Mei is fully handmade. The process leads each tea becomes very thin and curvature. The color of the tea is gold and brownish.
