Warm light settles over a Golden Ponds in Longmont, Colorado as the sky glows in soft washes of gold, lavender, and blue. Reflections ripple gently across the water, mirroring dist ant foothills and a sky alive with color, while tall grasses and reeds frame the scene in rich autumn tones. The composition captures that fleeting moment at sunset when everything feels still, luminous, and full of calm. Painted in watercolor on an 8x10 surface, this piece blends loose, expressive brushwork with layered color to create depth and movement. Inspired by Colorado’s Front Range ponds and open spaces, it brings a peaceful, nature-filled warmth to any room—perfect for those who love quiet landscapes and the beauty of changing light. Show more
