The freedom Linda Welch has found in alcohol ink art has its genesis in the magnificent colors and joy that surrounds her in Door County. Aurora shows a beautiful night in Door Cou nty during the Northern Lights. Alcohol inks are brightly colored, acid-free, dye based paints that create free flowing textures and design. They are fast drying and evaporate quickly, requiring a non-porous surface such as synthetic paper, ceramic tile, or a specially prepared canvas.
