Zuppa inglese- a classic Italian dessert from the Emilia Romagna region. A simple trifle/parfait made with crema inglese custard, dark chocolate, and pan di spagna sponge cake soak ed Alchermes liqueur, its uncomplicated construction belies the rich complexity of flavor that a perfectly crafted bite of zuppa inglese provides- elegantly creamy, delectably sweet, warmly boozy and spicy, a truly satisfying blend of textures and flavors to inspire pure joy in sweets-loving children and sophisticated adults alike. It's Hilde Soliani's favorite dessert in the world, so it's no wonder that Golosissimo boasts all of the subtly complex, yet simply delicious gourmand richness of the real zuppa- chocolate, vanilla, spice, cake, and liqueur swirl together with harmonious fullness, delivering a deeply satisfying and surprisingly multilayered fragrance. A gourmand that balances deftly between nostalgic wonder and sensual sophistication, Golosissimo instantly takes its place among Hilde Soliani's very best.
