Gomphrena/ Globe Amaranth DESCRIPTION-These flowers have papery like blooms that come in a varity of different colors such as white, pink, purple, orange, and red that also retain their color when dried out which makes them great for gifts. SUN-Full sun SOIL-Average to slightly sandy with a PH of 6.1 to 6.5 WATERING-Once established these plants are drought tolerant although they will look better if they are kept hydrated. Avoid getting the foliage wet during hot/dry seasons. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. MATURE SIZE-6- 24 " tall and 6-12" wideHARDINESS ZONES-2-11 TEMP/HUMIDITY-Grows best in 65 to 75 degree weather and they don't tolerate frost very well.
