Good Friends Multi Block Linoprint Fox, fish, orchid and bird study using the multicoloured block linocut printing technique. This is a play on “Friends Together”. The ghost of the vacant fox is a reminder that friendship overarches time, distance and loss so even death doesn’t eradicate the value of the relationships and precious moments shared. It consists of three separate layers and carved Lino blocks to build the layers of detail and colour overlays. I use Cranfield relief printing inks that require drying time between print layers. As each print undergoes three different printing sessions every finished print will have inherent variations rendering each individual print unique. Each finished print is numbered and signed.
