The spicy nose and taste is entirely from the yeast malt and hop combination. Great for cellar aging. Food pairing: Lunch AND dinner, but only if you’re in Belgium. Proper bread and butter. Witloof, and other strong temperate climate vegetables. Fish, mussels, soft or strong cheese, fowl, fruit desserts, nougat, jenever. Full, spicy and banana yeast character right upfront, raisin and dried apricot as it warms, very smooth finish - Lots of clove, sweet spice. Juicy orange, pears, apricots, caramel pudding, hints of clove. Supple malts.
