That bittersweet moment when summer finally lets go and autumn rushes in to take its place. Goodbye Summer captures it perfectly. Warm coral and dusty rose sit alongside bursts of fiery orange and deep golden yellow, with darker brown and plum threading through to anchor the whole thing. It's the colour of a forest floor carpeted in maple leaves with sunlight breaking through the trees at that perfect low October angle. There's real drama in this colourway but it never tips into harsh. The rose and coral tones keep it warm and wearable, the kind of colour combination that looks as good on the skein as it does knitted up. Every section of the skein tells a slightly different story, lighter and peachy in places, deeper and more complex in others. 100% merino wool, hand-dyed. Goodbye Summer is a colourway for big, expressive projects that give the colour room to breathe. A generous wrap, a statement sweater, a shawl you'll reach for all season. Simple stitches will let the tonal shifts do the work. Anything too fussy would compete with what's already happening in the yarn. Some colourways you buy for a project. This is one you buy because you can't leave it behind.
