Is This Good Wine?Assessing Quality with Confidence WATCH THE RECORDING Whether y ou’re a wine buyer for a restaurant, a retailer, or an avid consumer hoping to spend your wine budget wisely, this session is for you. We’ll present both “testable” wines and other regional benchmarks – we have to be able to assess all, professionally and personally. In pursuing certifications, there’s a fierce focus on identifying wines when tasting blind. But – are we able to recognize superior juice if it’s not a classic expression? Can we make a quality call independent of product knowledge or price point? In tasting this line-up, we’ll assess the quality of fruit, balance, length, and all the elements that lead to the simple conclusion, “It’s quality in the glass.” Empower yourself to recognize quality in wine, no matter the circumstance.
