'Synrise' is the second album proper from Belgium's Goose, who've previously released on Skint and whose music has previously been used on adverts for Coca-Cola and Heineken, donch aknow. There's quite clearly some major pop factors at play with this album, from the sleeve art by Storm Thorgerson (responsible for THAT Pink Floyd sleeve) to the pitch-perfect electro-rock power-pop within, apparently inspired by Philip Glass, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Depeche Mode and Giorgio Moroder.
