Released in 2017, Humanz marked Gorillaz’ long-awaited return after a seven-year hiatus, delivering a bold, politically charged album shaped by global uncertainty and social unrest. Dense, dark and collaborative, the record leans heavily into hip hop, electronic and experimental pop, reflecting a world on edge while maintaining the project’s genre-blurring identity. Featuring standout tracks such as “Saturnz Barz”, “Strobelite”, “Andromeda”, “Ascension” and “We Got the Power”, the album brings together an expansive lineup of collaborators while keeping Damon Albarn’s vision firmly at the centre. Humanz is restless and confrontational, rewarding full-album listening rather than isolated singles. Pressed across two vinyl LPs, this edition spreads the album’s layered production and heavy low-end across four sides for improved dynamics and clarity. Supplied brand new and sealed, it’s an essential addition for Gorillaz fans and collectors exploring the project’s darker, more experimental era. Available now from Heathen Records, your independent Australian online record store specialising in new and collectible vinyl.
