Third studio album by the English virtual band Gorillaz. Murdoc takes control of the group’s new base, holding 2D captive while a cyborg version of Noodle—built from the DNA of the original guitarist—guards the operation. Russel is missing, adding to the tension in this ambitious narrative backdrop. Plastic Beach stands as one of Gorillaz’s most expansive and innovative works, merging genre-defying music with a richly layered fictional universe. The album marks the first time Mick Jones and Paul Simonon have played together since The Clash, further cementing its significance in modern music.
