Göteborg Electronic Soundmap — Limited Edition Print The influence of electronic music in Göteborg has perhaps been overshadowed by Rock and Indie, but its impact has been no less profound. From early electro pioneers such as Cosmic Overdose and venues such as Klubb Swing, Göteborg was primed when Rave hit in the late 80s — illicit parties where buses departed from Götaplatsen at midnight to take people to raves in the woods. Legendary club nights such as Happiness, Love, Do Not Hate and Modesvisning followed, with a full ecosystem of record shops, labels such as Progress, Kning Disk and Ideal, and a mastery of Electronica still heard today in the likes of Fever Ray and Little Dragon.
