My striking and unique Gothic bat card featuring my original pen and ink illustration of a dramatic pattern composed of little fanged flying bats, in a geometric design of fives, a uspiciously… a Bat Pentacle! Blank inside for your own message. This stylish gothic bat card is great for all occasions, to send to bat loving friends and family, and those who enjoy the mystical and darker, spooky side of things. Bats make excellent messengers… I had fun designing this bat card by hand here in my Nottingham based studio, as part of my bat range. It is the second of my bat pattern designs, slightly different feel to my story telling illustrations, but I really love the distinct bat silhouettes. These inky bats remind me of Rorschach tests also, I definitely see bats, I think! (What do you see?) This card is printed here in the UK in small sustainable quantities, on thick smooth white cardstock which is sturdy to display and easy to write on. I have paired this striking card with a rich purple envelope, for a splash of Gothic colour.
