These stunning brooches are modelled after Gothic originals made of gold and garnet in the 6th century. Our modern version is brass and enamel paint, which allows them to be sold a t this amazing price. Popular among the Ostrogoths and Visigoths, eagles were an important symbol and are common motifs in brooches and pendants. The solid pin-back is sturdy enough to hang a string of beads from, in the way of Gothic ladies at the time.Available as a pair. Currently available as a plain gold version, or in a tan colour.
