Cullen stands as the most emblematic ambassador for Australian Cabernet Sauvignon. In 1971, the Cullen family established their vineyards in Margaret River's sub-district of Wilyabrup, intending to produce world-class wines capable of competing with their European counterparts. Diana and her daughter Vanya had the vision to grow fruits sustainably, which naturally pushed them to look at alternatives to chemical treatments. Cullen's property was certified organic in 2003, biodynamic in 2004 and the Mangan property followed the same path in 2008. Today, Vanya Cullen travelled around the globe to showcase Wyliabrup's terroir' through her work and advocate for more sustainable farming. Last year, the Estate celebrated their 50th anniversary. 'Grace Madeline' is a blend of 67% Sauvignon Blanc and 33% Semillon, fruits from the original plantings of 1976. The wine was matured in barrels for five months in 55% new oak.
