Beautiful vibrant poster from 1957 promoting the ski resort of Grainau in Bavaria in Germany. Sat at the foot of the Zugspitze mountain, it is known as "Das Zugspitzdorf" or "The Zugspitze Village". This poster was created to advertise the region to tourists across Europe. With wonderful artwork from artist Stampfl depicting the beautiful Bavarian village in the mountains with a set of skis and poles in the foreground, this rare mid century travel poster is in fantastic mint condition with vibrant colour.
