Himrod is a beautiful, seedless, white grape prized for its delicate flavor and generous clusters. As one of the earliest-ripening cultivars, Himrod grapes are ready to harvest in late summer, typically mid-August. We grow Himrod in our garden and this faithful vine typically produces 2 crops a year with the second crop coming into bloom as the first one is harvested. The grapes mature to a light, golden-green or pale yellow hue, giving them an attractive, translucent appearance. The fruit is mild and sweet with subtle tropical undertones. Himrod is a vigorous variety, perfect for vertical gardening or training along supports. Vines can reach heights of 8–12 feet and can spread across 6–8 feet. Prune in late winter or early spring while they are dormant. Hardy in USDA zones 4 through 9.
