Grape Stomping Daylily 'Grape Stomping' daylily is pretty great. Lovely large, 5" grape purple blooms sport a darker purple eyezone and a bright green throat adds a striking contra st. Grows high on scapes about 3' tall in our East Tennessee garden. As a mid to late bloomer, we begin to see the sensational blooms of Grape Stomping around the first of June. If you live to our north, you'll see them a bit after we do. If you live to our south, you'll notice them a couple of weeks before us. Grape Stomping is a dormant daylily. That means it is best grown in areas that receive a sustained winter cold period like those in zones 8 and lower. Plant Grape Stomping with creamy near white and lovely tangerine daylilies for a dreamy landscape.
