Grapefruit’s Latin name citrus paradisi signifies it's tangy, juicy flavor, and bright, happy color. Most famous for its tasty flesh, the peel’s extracted oils are equally worth yo ur attention for their skin benefits. Like the fruit itself, the essential oil boasts potent antioxidants, which help fight free radicals and protect the skin from premature aging. A strong lymphatic and antiseptic, grapefruit essential oil is an effective remedy for acne as it removes toxins and bacteria while protecting the skin and keeping it blemish-free. Thanks to its invigorating and stimulating properties, grapefruit essential oil is one of my favorite graceful aging tools, depuffing and firming as it restores your youthful glow.
