Grappa, originated in Northern regions of Italy like Veneto, Friuli and Piedmont. It is a Pomace Brandy, produced from grape skins, seeds and stems left over from winemaking. Corniola Grappa di Sangiovese is distilled from 100% Sangiovese finished wine not Pomace.. Grappa di Sangiovese is a high-quality Brandy distilled in classic copper still before being aged in small French oak casks, giving it an extraordinary mellowness, elegant and persistent, with scents of vanilla oak flavours. After distillation, we have added 1% finished Sangiovese wine to the finished Grappa to give it a pink Rose’ appearance rather than the normal clear style. Grappa di Sangiovese is ideal served at room temperature as a digestive after a meal or add a drop into espresso coffee.
