Sweetflag - Acorus americanus - This grass provides food and cover for wildlife and birds. Reproduces by seed and spreads by rhizomes; grows to approx. 3' tall with a 10" minimum r oot depth. Plant in full sun. No drought or salt tolerance. Blooms June - July with yellowish brown flowers. Great for Wet meadows, stream edges, ditches and swamp-like areas.
