"Grana" means "grainy" in Italian. "Padano" from the production area in the "Pianura Padana" which is the Po River Valley in northern Italy. Aged for a minimum of 9 months, a maxim um of 2 years. Similar to Parmesan cheese and used in many of the same ways, although the flavour is milder than Parmesan due, in part, to it’s younger age. Grated for your convenience in 1kg bags. Show more
