Green Day Socks Green Day's 1994 Dookie was named as a reference to the constant cases of food poisoning that band members had to stomach during tours - scaled down from "Liquid Do okie", deemed too gross. The artwork, drawn by fellow punk rocker and artist Richie Burcher, perfectly captures the deviant and satirical spirit of the band.
