Green Eggs lofting rocket designed for Estes C11 and D engines. However, carrying a regular size raw egg as a payload comes very close to exceeding the max lift capability of most C6 engines used in other egg loft kits. Therefore, we recommend Estes C11 engines instead. They will provide a safe and stable flight, along with a recovery suited for small-sized flying fields.Green Eggs lofting rocket's clear payload is big enough to carry TWO medium sized eggs (with a D12-3 engine)! Swept fins allow the egg lofting rocket to stand by itself. The main body tube and clear payload section are both the same diameter so that you can glue a standard launch lug into place without the need for an awkward stand-off. Green Eggs Balsa fins are thick enough to enhance alignment and provide exceptional strength, even when Green Eggs are mounted through a wall. All these lofting rocket features add up to less time building and, therefore, more fun time for your students to perform experiments with their “eggstronauts”.
