Things that I make frequently inhabit a liminal space - where sculpture becomes adornment. Feather Boa evolved within this convergence of art / craft. Sculpture is untouchable, jew ellery is tactile art, creating an intimate experience of sculptural works. Look See Touch. Porcelain has a reputation for being fragile, yet its fineness is its innate strength. Tinkling music when the ‘feathers’ collide adds yet another sense to the piece when worn or hung in a breeze. Hand-made porcelain feathers strung together with fine strong leather cord. Unique ceramic sculpture, to hang on the wall or to be worn!
