What drew me to this subject, was more the composition than anything else. I particularly like the way it is made up of a collection of rectangles and squares; the block of blue sk y, the wall, window and shutters, even the dark strip that describes the underside of the eve. This is then relieved by the presence of the circular pots, and soft, less clearly defined shapes of the plants. The texturing and stone-work detail where the stucco is missing from the wall, is a nice rustic detail. Show more
