Designed specifically for use with GreenGuard Grazing Muzzles, this soft, pliable insert mirrors the same hole pattern* as the muzzle itself, so it does not increase grazing restriction. Instead, it provides a gentler contact surface between the muzzle and your horse’s teeth and lips for more comfortable daily wear. Made from a substantial, non-toxic, rubber-like material, the Standard Insert is built for durability while remaining flexible enough for practical everyday use. It installs by pushing the tabs through the matching slots in the muzzle, creating a secure fit that stays in place during turnout and grazing. Very secure once in place, these inserts can be removed but will take a bit of work to get out. But this is a good thing as it means your horse won't remove it before you do! *Note: if you have an older style muzzle without side slots (pre-2022), then your muzzle will not be compatible with this insert. You will need to purchase the tabless leather insert instead. CAUTION: Please ensure your horse is comfortable grazing in the GreenGuard muzzle prior to using insert.
