This piece of Ash came to me from a farm in a small village called St. John’s Town of Dalry in Dumfries and Galloway. It was a beloved tree that had been admired on the land for ge nerations. This 190 year old Ash tree fell in 2021 during storm Arwen. Ash is a particularly lovely wood to print with as it's growing season is such that it creates this very distinct rhythm, created by its long winter growth period.
