Japanese selvedge denim is renowned for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship, characterised by its tightly woven edges that prevent fraying and create a clean, finished look. Crafted on traditional shuttle looms, this denim is denser, heavier, more durable, and features a signature coloured thread on the edge, red in this case. The meticulous production process in Japan, coupled with the use of high-quality cotton, results in a fabric that ages beautifully over time, developing unique fades and textures.
