Grey Goose uses single-origin blé panifiable supérieur, the top classification of French soft winter wheat, sourced from three farming co-operatives within 50 kilometers of its Saint-Quentin distillery. The wheat is milled and fermented on-site, then run through a continuous five-column still in a single pass before being blended with limestone-filtered spring water drawn from a natural aquifer roughly 500 feet below the Gensac-la-Pallue facility in Cognac.
