Description The Knightsbridge grid indicator module is a single-module red neon indicator designed to fit the Curved Edge modular grid system. The module occupies one grid space at 25mm wide and can be wired either as a live indicator showing circuit status or as a locator identifying the switch position in the dark. The neon operates on 230V mains. Designed for use in multi-gang grid assemblies where visual feedback is needed for circuits such as immersion heaters, underfloor heating, outdoor lighting or appliances in adjacent rooms, the module fits standard Curved Edge grid frames and requires a 35mm minimum back box depth. The front-mounting design clips into the grid frame alongside switches, sockets and other modules to create custom control panels. The module body is constructed from white thermoset resin with antimicrobial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, and the red indicator lens measures 55mm high by 25mm wide. Wired as an indicator, the neon lights when the circuit is live, showing that a connected appliance or heating element is on. Wired as a locator, the neon lights when the switch is off, making it easier to find the switch in the dark. Is this compatible with standard grid systems? No. This module is designed exclusively for the Knightsbridge Curved Edge grid system. It will not fit standard flat grid frames or other manufacturers' grid systems. What back box depth is required? A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed. The module has a 20mm recessed depth, and the grid frame adds further projection from the wall. What colour options are available?
