Gripper strip for your DIY rug hooking frame or as a replacement if your strips are worn out! 40" long, made right here in Maine. Suitable for gripping linen, monks cloth, burlap, and rug warp foundations.Important information about gripper strips: 1) When you install these, make sure they are installed opened out on a curved surface or in to premade strip channels that open them out. They will not grip properly installed on a flat frame surface. 2) These strips have an installation direction. When installed, they should be smooth if you run your fingers toward the outside of the frame, prickly (be careful!) when you run them toward the inside. 3) When you cut the strip in to smaller sections, it is important to remove extraneous "pins" on each end. This can be done with needle nose pliers. 4) We sell fluffy flannel frame covers to help protect you from the sharp tines of these strips once you start using your frame!
