Gris 2x2 — Charcoal Grey Zellige Mosaic Tile A deep, slate-toned charcoal grey. There's a version of this color on the walls of old riads at dusk, just before the lamps come on — d ark enough to disappear into shadow, warm enough to never read as cold. Gris sits between our neutrals and Noir, holding that same quiet weight without Noir's full drama. Up close, the surface carries a fine, stippled texture, and each tile shifts from a cooler blue-grey to a warmer charcoal — the kind of depth that changes with the light in a room rather than sitting flat under it. Mounted on mesh sheets for a straightforward, clean installation, Gris 2×2 reads as a cleaner, more architectural grid than the 1×1 — suited to kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, hammam-style showers, and fireplace surrounds where the wall itself should hold presence. It pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, walnut, and honed limestone. Each sheet covers one square foot.
