Grotek Pro Silicate (0-0-4) Grotek Pro Silicate (0-0-4) is a concentrated silica and potassium supplement designed to support stronger plant structure, improved cell wall integrity and better tolerance to environmental stress. Developed for soilless media and hydroponic systems, Pro Silicate helps provide key elements that may be lacking in modern growing programs. Silica is widely used by growers to help strengthen plant cell walls, supporting stronger stems, improved plant posture and better resistance to abiotic stress such as heat and drought. With potassium silicate and potassium chloride, Grotek Pro Silicate also supplies soluble potash to support plant performance during both vegetative and reproductive growth. Why Choose Grotek Pro Silicate Concentrated silica and potassium supplement Product listed as 0-0-4 Supports stronger cell walls and cell integrity Helps improve plant structure and stem strength Supports tolerance to abiotic stress such as heat and drought Designed for soilless media and hydroponic systems Can be used during vegetative and reproductive growth Contains two potassium sources Derived from potassium silicate and potassium chloride Helps support flowering, fruiting and overall plant performance Suitable for hydroponics and soilless media, including peat and coco 1L makes up to 2000L of solution Silica Support for Stronger Plants Although silica is not considered an essential nutrient for most crops, many plants naturally accumulate silica because it supports stronger cell wall development. Stronger cell walls help plants maintain better structure, improve upright growth and reduce stress-related wilting. This makes Grotek Pro Silicate a practical supplement for indoor gardens, hydroponic systems, coco grows, peat-based media and greenhouse crops where plants may benefit from extra silica and potassium support. Potassium Support for Growth and Bloom In addition to silica, Grotek Pro Silicate provides soluble potash from potassium silicate and potassium chloride. Potassium supports water movement, nutrient transport, plant strength, flowering and fruiting performance. Used as part of a balanced nutrient program, Pro Silicate helps growers support stronger plants from vegetative growth through the reproductive stage. Ideal For Silica supplementation Potassium support Hydroponic systems Soilless growing media Coco-based growing Peat-based growing Vegetative growth Reproductive growth Flowering and fruiting plants Heat stress support Drought stress support Stronger stems and structure Indoor gardens Greenhouse crops Growers using complete nutrient programs Guaranteed Analysis Soluble Potash (K₂O): 4.0% Note: Product analysis may vary by label or region. Derived From Potassium silicate Potassium chloride How to Use Use Grotek Pro Silicate during vegetative and reproductive growth as part of a balanced nutrient program. Soil, Soilless and Water Culture: Mix 2.5–5 mL per 4 L of water Imperial equivalent: ½–1 tsp per 1 gal of water Add Pro Silicate to the nutrient tank before adding other nutrients Check pH and adjust to 5.5–6.5 Agitate well, then add the rest of your nutrient program Mix thoroughly before applying Important Mixing Notes Grotek Pro Silicate is a strong base and should never be added directly to nutrient concentrates. For best results, add Pro Silicate to water first, mix well, adjust pH, then add your other nutrients. If adding Pro Silicate to an existing nutrient solution, pre-dilute it in a small amount of water first. Add slowly while agitating. This method may cause precipitates if pH fluctuations are too high, so careful mixing and pH adjustment are important. Important Use Notes Do not mix directly with nutrient concentrates Add to the reservoir before other fertilizers whenever possible Pre-dilute before adding to an existing nutrient solution Always check and adjust pH after mixing Watch pH carefully, as Pro Silicate is a strong base Use as part of a balanced nutrient program Avoid over-application Follow the product label for crop-specific recommendations Store according to the manufacturer's instructions Silica and Potassium Support for Plant Resistance Grotek Pro Silicate (0-0-4) is a reliable silica and potassium supplement for growers who want stronger plants, improved structure and better support during environmental stress. With potassium silicate, potassium chloride and a concentrated formula, Pro Silicate is a useful addition to hydroponic and soilless growing programs from vegetative growth through flowering and fruiting. Note: Always follow the product label and Grotek’s official recommendations for proper dosage, mixing order, pH adjustment, application timing, compatibility and storage.
