Made entirely from domestic, sustainably sourced walnut: the slab, rich with topographic features; the tapered half-moon legs, elegant and strong; it all starts with a seed in the ground. The Claro walnut slab tabletop has several inlayed details to mend knots and flaws. These trees take over a hundred years to grow, so we take our time with the details. Multiple species are available, get in touch with us with your preferences, and we'll respond with several options. The base is made of solid walnut, hand sculpted, rounded with hand tools, and refined. Dimensions depend on the slab that you choose - pictured is a piece that is approximately 120" length x 43" - 53" width x 29.5" height. Distance between legs is 72", ideal for seating three people on either side, and one or two people at the head of the table. Lead time + final cost depends on the slab that we choose. For our slab dining tables, we ask for a 70% deposit - the remaining balance + freight (or delivery) are charged upon completion.
