The Elevation Disc Golf Groundhog is an overstable approach disc designed with a unique anti-gyro construction to reduce glide and bring the disc to the ground faster. Instead of concentrating weight around the rim, the Groundhog places additional material in the center of the flight plate, reducing gyroscopic stability and causing the disc to lose forward carry earlier in flight. This creates a controlled, dropping finish that helps limit unwanted skips or long ground play. The Groundhog also features a lower-profile design compared to similar low-glide approach discs, giving it a more comfortable feel in the hand for both forehand and backhand throws.
