Perfect for spreading larger amounts of grout on large mosaics over distance. Alternatively I'd use it for thinset backgrounds where you want a nice smooth look. It's perfect for t hat. Probably perfect for cake icing too..... Just make sure you get one for each job lol..... Has a hole which makes a convenient place to hang it onto a nail from your tool shelf or a hook.
