Gtechniq Panel Wipe Paintwork Inspection & Preparation Spray Gtechniq Panel Wipe is a surface inspection spray which is designed to remove polish residues. Gtechniq Panel Wipe or PW as it's commonly referred to as, features a pure blend of pure alcohols and aromatic solvents formulated specifically to give adequate working time to remove and dissolve polish residues and then flash off to leave a fully decontaminated surface. Why use Panel Wipe? Using Gtechniq Panel Wipe has a few benefits. Firstly, when polishing you need to know you have achieved the desired result and at times polish residue can cause a filling effect. This filling effect can give the impression that the swirls, scratches or defects have been removed when they actually haven't. A quick mist of Panel Wipe and a wipe down with a clean microfibre will remove these residues and give you a true representation of the finish. Secondly, using Panel Wipe is essential to remove contaminants from the surface before applying any of the Gtechniq Coatings such as Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer, Crystal Serum Light, EXO or C5 Wheel Armour. By using Panel Wipe it removes any residues from the polishing stage or any other contaminants allowing the coating to achieve the maximum bond to the surface. How to use Gtechniq Panel Wipe Ensure the surface is cool to the touch before use. We always recommend the use of good quality nitrile gloves when using this product. Test on a small area of paintwork before use to ensure compatibility. Spray Panel Wipe on to the surface and buff with a clean microfibre towel, repeat if necessary. Store in a cool dry place.
