September 2nd • A Day of Purpose Tomorrow, we will be celebrating Sabrina’s 9th Birthday. Although we were only able to celebrate the day of her birth and her 1st birthday on earth together, we still make this day extra special for our daughter. We would love to invite you, our community, to Pay It Forward in Sabi’s honor. As I reflect on the last decade of my life, Growing The Pizarros has indeed continued to GROW. This blog was started in 2012, when we first set off on our IVF journey with Sabrina, and somewhere along the way, it turned into our purpose. As much as I keep wanting to chase my purpose, I have come to realize that I need to live in the moment, live in today. Today is my purpose. Today is our purpose. Honestly, I never thought GTP would have its own website and jewelry business. It feels surreal to me. Our logo was designed with a deep meaning for Erik & I personally, but I know that you, too, feel connected to it for your own special reasons. For us, the anchor represents HOPE and the butterfly with a heart is how we see/feel Sabrina’s love. If you have the anchor of HOPE in your life, you will be able to transition many lives in one lifetime…just like how Erik & I feel. In the beginning, we felt the joy of parenthood from 2013-2015 and again, with God’s blessing, from 2017 to today. Today is my purpose.
