Guard No. 5 Nourishing Barrier Balm | Fragrance-Free Tallow & Kokum The Ultimate Clean Shield for Sensitive Skin Protect your little one with a traditional, high-performance barrier balm designed for the most delicate skin. This concentrated, waterless formula combines the ancestral skin-nourishing power of grass-fed tallow with the luxury of kokum butter to create a breathable, moisture-wicking shield that stays exactly where it’s needed. Specifically formulated for newborns and those with extreme sensitivities, this balm is 100% fragrance-free—containing no essential oils, synthetic perfumes, or "masking" scents. Why It’s Different: Pure Tallow & Kokum Butter: Rich in Vitamins A, D, E, and K, these fats are bio-identical to human skin, allowing for deep nourishment while providing a durable physical barrier. Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: We use the gold standard of mineral protection. The "non-nano" particles sit safely on top of the skin to block moisture without being absorbed into the bloodstream. Kaolin Clay: Gently draws away excess moisture and calms redness without drying out the skin. Waterless & Concentrated: Because we don't use water or fillers, a tiny amount provides maximum coverage. One jar lasts 2–3 times longer than standard drugstore creams. Key Ingredients: Locally Sourced Tallow: Nature’s original skin-healer. Kokum Butter: A non-comedogenic, hard butter that provides a smooth, non-greasy finish. Organic Coconut Oil: Naturally antimicrobial and soothing. Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: Gentle, effective mineral protection. Kaolin Clay: For a soft, dry touch. How to Use: Apply a small, pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin during diaper changes. For best results, use at the first sign of redness or as a preventative barrier before bedtime. Pro-Tip: Because this balm is made with pure, natural butters, it may soften in warm temperatures. If it arrives soft, simply place it in the fridge for 20 minutes to restore its creamy consistency. Another Pro-Tip: This formula is not for use with cloth diapers. The Non-Nano Zinc Oxide doesn't completely wash out and will reduce the diaper absorbability. Please contact us for a specially made formula for use with cloth diapers if needed.
